about

People who spend their lives with horses know it - the soul horse. This one horse, to which you have that very special connection. A horse that you can rely on in all situations. For Rob, this soul horse was Primetime Shorty. For almost 10 years, the two were partners in the daily work on the ranch, and on many cutting shows, a team which constantly performed successfully in the Show Pen.

So it was a big shock for Rob when he found his horse lying dead on the paddock on the Sunday afternoon of 11.02.2018. Without a sign, his partner had unexpectedly gone over the rainbow, without farewell, without a last greeting. As it turns out later, after an examination, Shorty had a vascular rupture in the chest area, which has unexpectedly but very quickly taken him to the other side.

Until then, music was just a hobby of Rob. In the first few weeks after Shorty's death, Rob was repeatedly overwhelmed with memories of his beloved horse at the ranch, so he decided to leave the ranch for a few weeks and make a point on his bucket list come true. Singing lessons in Nashville.

Rob's talent was discovered during the stay, and Rob's debut single "Push That Horn" was recorded on this first visit, a song he wrote for his Trainer in Cutting, who passed away in January 2018, Dean Terry from DeSoto, Missouri. The release of this single has inspired and hooked many people worldwide, the beginning of Rob Georg Music.

lyrics

The last time I saw him alive
Was in the first rays of the morning light
Breathin' in the February air

I watched him break into a run
Then every rodeo we ever won came flooding back, I grinned from ear to ear

A horse like that

Comes along once in a lifetime
When I lost him I lost myself in prayer

Searched the Bible
Found a story
Of horses carrying God's glory
With the winds to every corner of the earth

Chorus
Father tell me if you can
Does my horse carry the wind
Does he fly with angel's wings across the ocean
When I die will you wash my sins
So I can ride him once again
Cause I don't know when I've been this lost and lonesome
Father tell me if you can Does my horse carry the wind

He used to bravely work the cows
Then turn gentle when there were kids around
A horse like that just can't stay down forever
Guess he was needed up in heaven

Chorus
Father tell me if you can
Does my horse carry the wind
Does he fly with angel's wings across the ocean
When I die will you wash my sins
So I can ride him once again
Cause I don't know when I've been this lost and lonesome
Father tell me if you can Does my horse carry the wind

Instrumental

about

Rob Georg Nashville, Tennessee

Like many, Rancher & Cowboy Rob Georg wrote out a bucket list and on top of catching a plane from Germany to Nashville to work on his vocals. In the middle of crossing that item off the top of his list, he met singer-songwriter, Kristin K. Smith. Encouraged by her words and moved by her actions, Rob Georg started to record and publish music.

His songs are a reflection of the life he leads.
