Rob has spent many years training horses and showing them in the Cutting Arena. With Primetime Shorty, Chulas Hickory and Phelps Ninth Gold, Rob took home multiple titles from 2009-2015. His name can be found in every Highpoint List of the National Cutting Horse Association of Germany during his active years.

To train horses and their owners has been a lot of fun, as well as competing in Cutting Shows. With his song he takes us into the deep sand of a Cutting Pen and the song clearly conveys the feeling that this the lyrics did really happen.

The idea for the song came to his mind thinking of the English saying "This Ain't My First Rodeo", which actually has the meaning "I am not doing something for the first time!". It is said in any life situation without talking about a real rodeo. The transfer of these words back to their original meaning to equestrianism was a great move.

Pat Alger was part of the Songwriting Team on this song, songwriter Hall of Famer, who wrote e.g "Thunder Rolls" performed by Garth Brooks.

Released in December 2018, the song had his debut at US Commercial and Non-Commercial Radio Stations late January 2019 and found the way into the US Country and AC (Adult Contemporary) Radio Charts in February. In Germany it is on radio rotation at rautemusik.fm/country and www.countrymusic24.com !

It is also played on radio in South Africa, Canada, Australia, Italy, France or Switzerland.
